In order to ensure that the VOLUTE™ dewatering press operates to the best possible standard, we would like to advise you about the consumable parts.

VOLUTE™ dewatering press has two consumable parts that in time will need to be replaced: 1. Moving Rings in dewatering zone(s) and 2. V-screw(s). When you feel that the throughput has dropped or the dry solid content has decreased, please check the hours displayed on the cumulative operation timer.

※This life span is just a reference. The life span will be based on the sludge type and setting of the operation.

There is another way to check if it is time to replace the parts.

You only have to look at the dewatering zone and see whether the rings are moving or not.

• We here in AMCON are very proud to have hosted the first ever annual AMCON Conference for our colleagues, partners and clients between the 22nd  February and the 25th February.  It is a big step forward for us as a company, but also as we believe for our partners and the sludge dewatering industry. 

  These couple of days were filled with presentations and debates about how we can provide better, more innovative, convenient and tailor-made technology and service for our customers around the world.

  We spoke about present and future upgrades to the Volute Dewatering Press – the new inspection ports, Siemens panels and others. Another segment dealt with servicing our technologies and offering service packs to our customers – guaranteeing years of regular maintenance and overhaul servicing of Volute but above all providing an even more care-free operation to our customers. Among other things, we talked about the possibilities of providing different solutions – like package plants, mobile, skid-mounted or containerized units.

   

  We were joined by two guest speakers, CEO Alexey Yuskin from Eco Potential Ltd., who told us about the market in Russia and Managing Director Dave Garton from ATANA Ltd., who spoke about polymers and the partnership between chemicals and engineering.

   

  We not only managed to learn a lot, but also had quite a bit of fun during our International Bowling Competition. Our winners were: 1st place T&A Mämmelä/ Pöyry from Finland, 2nd place EVH from Slovakia and 3rd place was taken by Evergreen Engineering from the Republic of Ireland (second and third place were actually tied, so the fastest finished received second place).

   

  We are looking forward to a very successful year and many similar future events!

VOLUTE™ Dewatering Press demonstrates its versatility in our latest reference, this time dewatering sludge from various car and truck washes from around the Czech Republic.

Amcon Europe has been exhibiting the VOLUTE™ Dewatering Press for the second time at the VOD-KA Exhibition in Prague this year and we are glad that this year brought more visitors to the event as well as to our stand. The VOD-KA exhibition is an event aimed at water supply and sewage and technologies and services in this field. And that is why being present is a priority to us.

Our exhibition area and a more sophisticated design of the stand were a benefit to our visitors and a very effective move for us as well. In the field of sludge dewatering in the Czech Republic is VOLUTE™, the self-cleaning sludge treatment technology with low operational costs and easy maintenance, quite a new and unexplored solution. We had the following models on display on VOD-KA:

 ♦ ES-051 – the smallest dewatering machine in the world, one that attracted the attention of many visitors. It is suitable for small waste water treatment plants with PE 50 to 500.

♦ EC–201 – a model from this year’s newest EC series, where a conditioning tank has been added in order to reach the highest quality of filtrate after dewatering. It rightfully earned the enthusiasm of visitors and offers for immediate purchase during the event. The PE of this model is 3000 to 6000.

♦ ES-351 – The model with the highest cylinder diameter (350mm) in our supply. It is suitable for average to large waste water treatment plants with PE up to 30 000 and it is also suitable for industrial WWTPs with a higher concentration of oil in the sludge, thanks to its self-cleaning construction

Based on affirmative reactions we can say, that also our new range of service packs (regular inspections, maintenance, sludge cake analysis, etc.) and post-warranty service will find its place in the market and WWTP owners and operators have very positively taken notice of this expansion of our offered services.

We are very satisfied with this year’s VOD-KA Exhibition and we are already looking forward to next year!
