Background

The VOLUTE DUO™ dewatering press had been tested on this site to help the customer treat mixed sludge with high fibre and grease content to compare its performance with that of their permanent installation, which had problems with regular blockages due to the fibrous nature of this sludge type.

Installation Details

The contactless model of RVP-241 operated very smoothly and stably while dewatering alternatively mixed and waste-activated sludge. With the suggested flow rate (11 – 18 kg-DS/h), the VOLUTE DUO RVP-241 provides the customer with very good dryness results and excellent quality of the filtrate.
