Twin Screws Dewatering Press Reduces the Phosphorus Level in the Filtrate to 3 ppm

Background

The VOLUTE DUO™ dewatering press was installed at this facility to help the customer reduce the phosphorus content level to a maximum of 3 ppm. Our main objective was to verify the resistance to blockage against highly inorganic sludge.

Installation Details

The VOLUTE DUO™ has provided satisfactory results. The phosphorus level in the filtrate was maintained below the 3 ppm limit while reaching good sludge cake dryness.
