The company employs over 5,000 people working on a three-shift schedule. The production runs for 20 hours a day followed by 4 hours of maintenance.&#13;\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;35289&#8243; img_size=&#8221;medium&#8221; add_caption=&#8221;yes&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]De VOLUTE\u2122-ontwateringspers ES-352 werd in de afvalwaterzuiveringsinstallatie geplaatst om slib te ontwateren dat afkomstig was van een geavanceerde DAF-technologie, genaamd GEM (Gas Energy Mixing System). Het eindproduct \u2013 een voedingsrijke slibkoek \u2013 werd naar de kookinstallaties getransporteerd en als bestanddeel toegevoegd aan het als bijproduct verkregen diervoeder.<\/p>&#13;\n<p>Wat vettig slib betreft, kampt de conventionele ontwateringstechnologie met grote problemen, zoals verstopping, dagelijkse reinigingswerkzaamheden, enzovoort.<\/p>&#13;\n<p>De sleutel tot het succesvol uitvoeren van dit proces is het unieke ontwerp van de ontwateringstrommel. Een cilinder wordt gevormd door lagen afstandhouders en ringen (zowel vaste als bewegende). <\/p>&#13;\n<p>De beweegbare ringen, die iets kleiner zijn dan de buitendiameter van de schroef en iets smaller dan de afstandhouders, bevinden zich tussen de vaste ringen en worden door de schroef in beweging gebracht. De beweegbare ringen verwijderen voortdurend slib uit de openingen en voorkomen verstopping. Dit is de geheime zelfreinigende beweging die het mogelijk maakt om zonder problemen met olie- en vethoudend slib om te gaan. De nieuwe DAF-installatie is van het merk GEM, en voor de ontwatering maken wij gebruik van de VOLUTE\u2122-ontwateringspers ES-352 van AMCON. De VOLUTE\u2122 heeft uitzonderlijke resultaten opgeleverd. Wij exploiteren de gehele afvalwaterzuiveringsinstallatie nu zelf en alles verloopt vlekkeloos.
