In that sense, we are mostly known as the pioneer of decentralized dewatering for small wastewater treatment plants. Wastewater treatment plants – that never thought they were big enough to have their own dewatering facility – have been economically and environmentally managing their sludge treatment very well with our technology and user-oriented services.

| Did You Visit Us at VOD-KA Fair? |

| VOD-KA, the most exciting water focused exhibition in Prague, Czech Republic took place on May 21. – 23. this year. It took a lot of work and preparation but it paid off. The visitors got a chance to see ES demo unit in action and modernized FS unit was present as well.
Moreover, we let you check the inside of our compact containerized solution for sludge dewatering by means of a simulation model. By using the virtual reality goggles, you had the opportunity to experience the VOLUTETM and related equipment such as polymer mixing and dosing station, sludge pump and other in “reality”. |

More importantly we managed to introduce you to our very own innovation — an economical POLYWATER — a new polymer make-up unit which matches our dewatering technology perfectly. This device is operated by its hydraulic motor which utilizes incoming water pressure and therefore there is no need of electric power.
Other significant features are simple operation, compact design and low maintenance and operating costs. Our team enjoyed sharing information about our work including new projects. |

Very interesting. Can you describe what a professional team in AMCON Europe looks like?
We are very international. You could meet up with people from countries from all over Europe but also from Kazakhstan, India and — of course — from Japan. As a multicultural company we are more likely to understand our customers' needs and meet their expectations. We pay attention to the structure of our teams, cooperation and expertise — all of that is fundamental for the success of our business.
The international environment might cause some obstacles, have you ever experienced any?
Naturally, although in this case, we are talking about small misunderstandings which are rather amusing. A good example might be a moment when our foreign colleague comes to work on a Czech national holiday.
The company's official language is English, therefore it gives our non-native speakers constant opportunity for improvement. We support communication and team building events outside the company via collective activities, which are organized several times a year.
We care about our work environment and overall satisfaction a lot because only this way we can create the strongest and the most productive group of professionals with minimal fluctuation, which I am honestly proud of.

| Unexpected Encounters in a Desert |

| For some of those who were born in a different climate/region; desert is one of the places they might admire. Several VOLUTETM units have been installed in the gulf region in Middle East; therefore, it is necessary for our team to stop by time to time and check the unit. |  |

When you do not know about the dark side of the desert, it could be quite deadly as an unexpected encounter may happen to you in the sand.
Scorpions live in the beautiful sand of the desert and it is almost impossible to detect them, especially if you do not live there.
When stung, you must search for immediate medical help, to remove the poison out of your body or your life will be at risk, which might create another obstacle in the middle of many square kilometres of sand.
Poisonous snakes also fade into the sand and will sneak around the desert silently; and sometimes, they suddenly appear on-site. You must be cautious to not find yourself in the circumstances mentioned above.
In extreme cases eliminating the predator to protect your life is an option.
Please keep your eyes open for any danger wherever you travel.
